Angels Circle 9/11 Memorial
‘Vigilance’ Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club’s ‘Richmond’ Chapter is hosting a fundraiser to benefit Staten Islands very own 9/11 Memorial.
Angels Circle is located in the Grasmere section of Staten Island and is an independently run memorial dedicated to commemorating the more than 200 deceased Staten Islanders lost during the terrorist attacks on our city.
Angels Circle Founder, Wendy Pellegrino, expresses that Angels Circle became a space where loved ones would come to remember the people who lost their lives. Wendy says the idea came when she understood the fear and indescribable feeling she had when she thought her husband and other family members died on that day.
Though her husband and other relatives returned home on that dreadful day, Pellegrino still felt an awful feeling in her stomach, so she decided to light a candle at what was once a small empty lot at 4 a.m. the next morning. Others took notice and responded, and Angels Circle was born.
Please help the Vigilance Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club (LEMC) raise funds for Ms. Pellegrino so we can keep the grounds beautiful, clean, and honoring Staten Islands own for years to come!
