Assistance for Detective Vazquez’s Family
On behalf of our fellow brother in blue, we are organizing this campaign to start a fund for NYPD Detective Jared Vazquez’s wife Angela and daughter Haley.
On June 18, 2022 Jared left this world too soon. Detective Jared Vazquez was assigned to highway for the last 15 years of his 18 year career. Jared was an 18 year veteran of the NYPD, but also an avid outdoorsman, a great scuba diver and an even better father, husband and detective.
Jared's daughter Haley fell ill in 2019, with many medical complications, and he almost lost her. He had been doing all he could to help her recover in the last 3 1/2 years.Haley is about to enter her senior year in high school. Your support would also assist Haley as she is preparing for the school year and future college dreams. Staying in their home would greatly benefit Haley during her recovery and this difficult time.
We ask that you consider showing your support for the family as they grieve the unexpected loss of Jared. Funds raised will be used to assist his wife Angela and daughter Haley with medical and living expenses, and in the future, college for Haley.
We thank Detective Jared Vazquez for his dedication, service and bravery to the City of New York and the New York Police Department. He will be sorely missed.

I'll always remember Jared for his silly jokes, and for the times we all "almost" got lost in the woods. From my family to yours, our deepest condolences for everything your family has been through. Love, Colm Ashe & Family
