For the last several Christmas seasons the Spokane Police Foundation has provided funding to the Spokane Police Department to provide Christmas gifts to approximately 20 families.  This is a large undertaking, both in time (for the police department) and money (for the foundation & made possible by generous donations).  We are proud to be able to assist in providing Christmas to some local families who have been identified as recipients of this program by our amazing Spokane Police Officers!  

Officers have the opportunity to encounter individuals who need assistance who most likely would not otherwise be identified for assistance.  The families who are receiving assistance are definitely in need of this assistance and will rejoice when the officers show up with a multitude of gifts!

This year, the Spokane Police Department is currently in the process of purchasing gifts for the families that have already been identified and the gift wrapping celebration will be on December 15th.  Presents will be delivered shortly after that date.  There is still time to donate to this cause for 2022.
