Our brother Felix Rodriguez was called up to God on September 24th, 2024. Taken from us due to cancer, it was so abrupt and unexpected. God needed him more than we did. Felix is loved and missed by so many. His personality, positivity and happiness was so contagious. He would walk into any room and the place would light up. To know Felix was to love him. You couldn't not love him. Through his long battle with cancer, he never lost his positive mindset. Even through the pain he was enduring with his treatments, he was smiling and making sure the person next to him was doing good.
Felix started his public service to New York City as an Explorer for the NYPD. A short time after, he then became a Police Cadet, where he was activated and sent to the World Trade Center during 9/11. It was there where he found his true calling to help others and serve the city he was born and raised in, and help others he did. He then became a Peace Officer with Dept. of Homeless Services (DHS) Police in 2011 where he was able to help the homeless of New York City. He then pursued his true dream and was sworn in as a Police Officer with the NYPD in January of 2013 where he proudly served the communities of the 43rd Precinct. He dedicated his life to the job that he loved and did it all with a smile on his face.
We understand everyone's financial situation is different. Every penny counts and if you cannot donate, all we ask is for your thoughts, prayers and support during this difficult time.
Felix leaves behind his wife, his 4 year old son, his mother and other family members.
We love and miss you Felix.
