On October 9th, Dale and his girlfriend were moving into their new apartment in Tampa, ready to embark on the next phase of their lives. After a long day of moving, they sat down to relax when Dale suddenly started garbling his words and developed weakness on the right side. He looked in the mirror and told Haneefah “Call 911, I'm having a stroke." Dale (being the most brilliant person ever) diagnosed himself correctly and at just 30 years old, he had suffered a hemorrhagic stroke.
Dale was just one week away from starting his first job as a Gastrointestinal Physician Assistant. Unfortunately, this means he did not have health insurance during his ER visit, ICU admission, or crucial outpatient therapy sessions.
Dale has been crushing therapy and getting stronger every day!! He is hoping to begin his job as a PA early in the new year.
If you are in a place financially, please consider donating to help cover necessary expenses in Dale's journey to recovery.
Updates
Fortunately, Dale was able to get some financial relief from his hospital admission! He still has numerous other expenses that need to be covered, but we were able to reduce his goal to $20,000 which we are SO close to!!
Per Dale, we would like all final donations to be submitted before this Sunday, 11/19/2023. Dale is beyond grateful for everyone's contributions♥️
