In August of 2022 we tragically lost our brother Gary. A close friend, fellow stag and all around amazing person. Anyone who was fortunate enough to know Gary could tell you how brilliant, funny and full of life that he was. Gary was a great friend, brother, son and uncle. A brilliant mind dedicated to the research and teaching of biology. An avid athlete and ferocious fan of the NY Mets. A literal walking encyclopedia of Simpsons knowledge. Gary was always a pleasure to be around and after 5 minutes with him, he’d have you in stitches and feeling as if you’d been friends with him forever. He was truly one of a kind. A group of Gary’s close friends and classmates from Fairfield University, came up with the idea of honoring Gary’s memory with a tree and a plaque located on the Grauert Field Rugby Pitch at Fairfield University, where Gary could be forever remembered. In order to get this done Fairfield has asked that we raise funds to pay for the memorial a long with a donation to a cause at Fairfield near and dear to Gary. We are asking all of Gary’s friends and acquaintances to join us in creating a lasting memory to our brother Gary at the place where it all started for us. Please consider supporting our cause, any support is appreciated. Thank you!

Updates
On behalf of all the boys, I’d like to thank you all from the bottom of hearts for supporting this cause and honoring Gary. Due to your generosity we will be able to make a sizable donation to Fairfield in Gary’s name that will benefit students for years to come. Additionally we will have a permanent memorial to remember him and keep his memory alive. As the memorial progresses I will keep you all updated, again thank you all for your generous donations!
