ABOUT DRIVERNOTIFIER™
Utilizing the latest in smartphone app technology, DriverNotifier™ is a groundbreaking new public safety service designed to facilitate: (1) non-emergency communication and conflict resolution between drivers of
unattended vehicles registered with DriverNotifier™ that are causing a problem or
nuisance and any member of the general public wishing to contact them
concerning their vehicle, and (2) emergency communication and crisis mitigation
between first responders and emergency contacts for drivers and/or passenger(s)
incapacitated or detained as the result of illness, injury or arrest while
operating or traveling in a vehicle enrolled with DriverNotifier™.
Personal, commercial and government vehicle owners and fleet managers can enroll any number of cars, vans, trucks and motorcycles at the official DriverNotifier™ website for a modest annual enrollment fee per vehicle. At no additional cost, any number of drivers and passengers associated with one or more DriverNotifier™-enrolled vehicles can enter their personal contact, emergency contact and personal medical information at the official DriverNotifier™ website. Moreover, DriverNotifier™-enrolled drivers and passengers assigned to a particular DriverNotifier™-enrolled vehicle can be changed with the press of a button.
According to DriverNotifier™ Chief Strategy Officer, Andrew Lewis, “DriverNotifier’s
non-emergency communication and conflict resolution service was born of my
frustration with the daily scourge of unattended vehicle nuisance incidents throughout
New York City, including, but certainly not limited to, double-parked vehicles
blocking vehicular and/or pedestrian traffic, often triggering seemingly incessant
horn blowing and shouting matches.” DriverNotifier’s
emergency communication service stems from his time as Assistant Commissioner
of Community Affairs with the New York City Police Department. “It is shocking how time consuming it can be
for first responders to contact next of kin and access lifesaving medical
information on behalf of severely ill or injured drivers and passengers. These delays really can mean the difference
between life and death,” Lewis said.
Check out the attached easy-to-follow flowchart that simply explains exactly how this innovative new service works.
A December 2020 national marketing survey conducted by Hatch Ventures LLC determined that a very promising 68 percent of survey respondents would enroll or consider enrolling one or more vehicles with DriverNotifier™. Moreover, an earlier marketing survey also conducted by Hatch Ventures LLC found that 92 percent of survey respondents would use or consider using the free, official DriverNotifier™ smartphone app to call or text the operator of an unattended vehicle causing a problem or nuisance. Further, according to Lewis, “the first responder community has been enormously supportive of DriverNotifier’s emergency communication and crisis mitigation function.”
With minimal business competition, modest pricing and over 250 million registered vehicles in the United States, DriverNotifier™ has enormous market penetration potential and, consequently, the very real potential to serve as a valuable new nuisance abatement and public safety enhancement tool for first
responders across the country, including, but not necessarily limited to, police officers, fire fighters, emergency medical technicians and other medical professionals.
We are very respectfully requesting the first responder community, friends of the first responder community and the general public to consider contributing to this exciting and innovative public safety campaign to fund the following start up costs: (1) DriverNotifier™ website and database development; and (2) DriverNotifier™ app development.
In exchange for your contribution now, upon successful launch of DriverNotifier™, you will receive immediate authorization to enroll one or more personal and/or commercial vehicles with DriverNotifier™ for one (1) or more years, depending on your contribution amount, at no charge. Regardless of the amount you contribute now, you will save a considerable sum of money over the introductory enrollment rates we expect to offer the general population when DriverNotifier™ goes live.
