Kyle began his Public Safety career in 2002 as a dispatcher, eventually moving on to becoming a Police Officer in 2004. He served honorably with both the Town of Wells, ME and City of Saco, ME for numerous years, spending time on the Maine Drug Task Force.
Kyle gave up his law enforcement career to move his family to Florida, where his wife could pursue her career as a Psychiatric Nurse Supervisor and his family could enjoy some warm weather. In Florida Kyle enjoyed his new role as a stay at home Dad for their two lovely daughters.
In July of 2022 Kyle became seriously ill and was admitted to the hospital. He underwent surgery and was diagnosed with Stage 4 Liver Cirrhosis and Liver Failure. Doctors conducted a biopsy which detected Hepatocellular Carcinoma.
Kyle's illness is very taxing mentally, emotionally, physically and financially for both him and his family. He's not sure how much time he has left and hates not being able to do things with his Kids. He is a very selfless person and I had to pressure him into allowing me to make this fundraiser. He doesn't want anyone to feel any obligation to contribute anything, but as a fellow brother in Law Enforcement I want to insure he finishes his bucket list without any financial concerns. Thank you all for your time and consideration.
Updates
Kyle does not wish to accept any donations and asked that I end the fundraiser. I am working with Fund the First to try and get everyone refunded.
