In October 2020, Carrie Murray Beavers had the vision to produce new blends of coffee that would change familiar flavors forever. She knew she wanted to improve upon flavors she thought were bland. She also wanted to find a way to give veterans a sense of purpose to help reduce the suicide pandemic claiming 22 veteran lives a day. 

Carrie knew what she wanted to complete but didn't know where to start. Undaunted by the task at hand, she set out to make the dream a reality, and on March 13, 2021, she launched Soldier Girl Coffee Company. She has spent the last year perfecting blends she knew weren't living up to the potential of their full flavor.

Soldier Girl Coffee Company is actively engaged in combating veteran suicide. If you're a veteran, you already know the pandemic that is sweeping through our ranks, and I am not talking about COVID. It's the monsters in our heads that lure us to take the easy way out. 

If you aren't a veteran, you might be less aware, so that we will lay it out for you simply. 22 veterans commit suicide, not monthly or weekly, but daily. Chances are if you walk up to any veteran you know, they know someone that has given into this plague and may have considered it themselves. This is what Soldier Girl Coffee Company is committed to reducing.

She does this by offering discount codes every month that allows a customer to type in a code that gives the customer a 22% discount at checkout. Then, depending on the discount code used, a non-profit veteran group assigned to the discount code will receive 20% of the profit of that sale. 

Soldier Girl Coffee is snowballing into an avalanche. More rapidly than Carrie can keep up. Like everything else in America right now, the cost of beans and packaging is steadily rising. Also, Carrie has a long list of other products she wants to offer, but right now, she has more going out than coming in. She doesn't want to raise prices to fulfill her goals.
