On November 13th, 2023, Adam experienced a catastrophic misfire during a RPG launch while filming an educational video series. There was a mishap, causing it to explode on his shoulder. This had him airlifted to the hospital with third degree burns on about 10% of his upper body, a broken jaw, a fractured skull, face and chest lacerations, several pieces of shrapnel in his body, and long term nerve damage in his face.
Adam Knowles is a recent veteran after spending some time deployed in the U.S. Army. One of his goals after returning home was to educate and entertain his fellow citizens about the interesting world of firearms, as well as the dangers.
Multiple skin grafts, stitches, and other surgeries later, Adam is left with an enormous medical bill of almost $300,000, especially after the helicopter ride, and the weeks spent in the hospital in order to get back on his feet. I am hoping to do everything I can to help him and his family recovery as much as possible, physically, mentally, and financially. So far, insurance has only covered about 2% of the total.

Adam, My family and I love what you guys do. Our heart goes out to you and your crew as you recover. Keep your head up! Can’t wait to see the new content. Oh, and **** that guy who said you pay the price for the attention you seek. That’s a terrible human being that needs to be removed from this planet.

Motorcycles crash, rockets blow up. If you use either for your act, don’t ask for help when you crash or burn. Get back up on stage, or get a new job. Dangerous acts aren’t educational, they’re for attention. Your turn to pay for that attention you seek.
Reply from Adam Knowles1 year agoIronic using Evel Knievel to post this as he had an entire team of funders, lawyers, and a plethora of other staff to make sure he kept going when they needed him to. This was not a dangerous act for attention, it was an educational act for scientific purposes that took an unexpected turn. Thanks for the dollar though!
