On November 13th, 2023, Adam experienced a catastrophic misfire during a RPG launch while filming an educational video series. There was a mishap, causing it to explode on his shoulder. This had him airlifted to the hospital with third degree burns on about 10% of his upper body, a broken jaw, a fractured skull, face and chest lacerations, several pieces of shrapnel in his body, and long term nerve damage in his face.
Adam Knowles is a recent veteran after spending some time deployed in the U.S. Army. One of his goals after returning home was to educate and entertain his fellow citizens about the interesting world of firearms, as well as the dangers.
Multiple skin grafts, stitches, and other surgeries later, Adam is left with an enormous medical bill of almost $300,000, especially after the helicopter ride, and the weeks spent in the hospital in order to get back on his feet. I am hoping to do everything I can to help him and his family recovery as much as possible, physically, mentally, and financially. So far, insurance has only covered about 2% of the total.
