I am writing to request your assistance for Erin, a beautiful young woman who has been courageously battling Cauda Equina Syndrome, a severe medical emergency that requires rapid treatment. Erin underwent her first surgery 72 hours post-diagnosis, but unfortunately, it was ineffective, necessitating a second surgery eight months later. Despite these efforts, Erin continues to experience recurring pain, requiring additional procedures such as hip fusion and spinal ablation.  She also suffers from Myasthenia Gravis, a condition that causes her to be unable to talk and communicate her needs to those around her.  These treatments, though crucial, have left her with overwhelming medical debt.

Erin’s husband, Jim Rawcliffe, had been working a significant amount of overtime to help pay the ongoing medical expenses but has had to cut back due to Erin’s increasing need for assistance getting to her frequent medical appointments.

Currently, Erin frequently relies on a wheelchair or arm crutches for mobility. Her home is not wheelchair accessible, compounding her daily challenges. The burden of her medical expenses, combined with the need for a more accessible living environment, has become insurmountable.
