Help Flight Paramedic Hunt on the Road to Recovery after LOD Injury
First Responders
Catastrophic Loss
New York
Created July 17th, 2023

Flight Paramedic Anthony Hunt has been an employee for Stony Brook EMS for about 13 years. During his tenure, Anthony has been a role model to many new employees, EMTs and Paramedics alike. His loud voice, and incredible sense of humor is a staple amongst staff. Anthony has an incredible work ethic and has continually proven to be one of the most dedicated and talented Flight Paramedics our department has to offer. On June 13th during transport of a patient, Anthony's ambulance was T Boned by another vehicle and rolled over. During the accident Anthony suffered numerous injuries leaving him unable to work for the foreseeable future. As many of you know, it is the norm to work more than one job to support our families in EMS, with a wife and two children at home unfortunately Anthony is no exception. As someone who dedicates his life to helping others, Anthony is the last one to ask for help for himself, so we are doing it for him. If you are able to, please donate to help Anthony on his road to recovery!
