This fundraiser is being created for Kevin Kirk who retired from the Tampa Police Department a few years ago after 28 years of service, and is currently undergoing treatment for brain cancer (Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma) which is a rare cancer of which only about 1,000 people a year are diagnosed. Kevin underwent brain surgery and intensive radiation treatment, but the cancer has spread. Kevin and his wife Dana are very strong during this time, and good Christians, but this is taking a financial toll. Kevin is currently undergoing testing for genetic markers to see if there is another option for treating his cancer. The Law Enforcement Brotherhood is unmatched in their generosity to society not to mention one of their own. Please contribute if you are able.
Updates
I want to thank everyone for their generosity and heartfelt wishes to Kevin. I also want to update everyone on Kevin’s condition. At this time Kevin is awaiting one further test, but the cancer is now also in his lungs. Kevin has remained very positive and wants everyone to know how much he appreciates everyone’s prayers, well wishes. The donations have been overwhelming to Kevin and he is so appreciative and was not expecting anything from anyone. God bless you all !
