Back The Blue NC, Inc. is raising funds to help cover lodging expenses for Wake County Sheriff's K9 Deputies who would like to attend Police Week in D.C. to honor their fallen brother K9 Deputy Ned Byrd (shot and killed in the line of duty 08/11/2022). 

Due to the previous administration within the Wake County Sheriff's Department, they do not have the budget to send all 12 Deputies of the K9 Unit and can only send three. If we reach our goal of $5,000 we should be able to provide lodging for all of the K9 Unit to attend. 

Police Week is being held from Sun, May 14, 2023 - Sat, May 20, 2023 but rooms sell out quick!
