The reason for me starting this fundraiser is because I was in a major motor vehicle accident on May 19, 2021 as to were I was Life Flighted to a local hospital as a Trauma 2 patient with Cervical Spinal Cord Injuries, and Shoulder Injuries. After going to doctors, and surgeons I have had to have 2 major neck surgeries and a major shoulder surgery. I am currently still going to the doctors and surgeons because I have Spinal Cord Damage, and severe nerve damage in my neck. The surgeons are also talking about doing another surgery to implant a spinal stimulation device in my neck because of the damage to my spinal cord and other nerves. I have also applied for my disability but, was turned down on my first attempt so now it is in a reconsideration phase. I am losing everything that I have waiting on my determination, and do not have the money to travel back and fourth to my doctors appointments or for repairers on my vehicle for my travels. My fiancé does help what little she can but, with her being on disability it is taking everything that she has to help. Also, my fiancé and I found out that she is 7 weeks pregnant with our first child on top of all this. I have not been able to return to work due to my injuries, and looks like I may never be able to go back to work because of the injuries that I have sustained. The reason that I am starting this fundraiser is to help me with my everyday cost of living, my Medical Treatment’s, Travels to and from doctors, repairs to my vehicle, food, and medicine’s.
