Dave is a 9 year veteran of the FDNY EMS, and was first called to serving the people of NYC after suffering devastating injuries when he was struck by a vehicle while on his bicyclein lower Manhattan. The life saving efforts of the EMTs and Paramedics that day inspired Dave to pursue a career in EMS.
Dave began his career in the FDNY as an EMT at Station 10 in Manhattan and is currently assigned to Station 13 in Washigton Heights after successfully completing the Paramedic Program.
After struggling with some recently gastrointestinal issues for the past year that kept him away from work Dave was forced to use much of his built up time off to tend to his health.
Unfortunately, Dave had a stroke on Sunday that affected the right side of his body and is currently in ICU at Staten Island University Hospital.
Dave supports his fiance Anna, and their daughter Julia. Please consider helping Dave and his family in their time of need.
