The 4x4x48 challenge began a few years ago when Officer Dave Sayers of the Hillsdale Police Department wanted to create a fundraiser and raise awareness for the Special Olympics while challenging himself. The 4x4x48 challenge consists of 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours, which David Goggins created! Two of David Goggins's greatest rules are to outwork everyone and push your limits. Officer Dave Sayers lives by those rules and started doing the 4x4x48 two years ago with his kids, and Jake Prusha was a volunteer EMT and firefighter in Hillsdale but is now in the United States Coast Guard.
The donations from this go straight to the Special Olympics of New Jersey, so we appreciate every donation we get!
