Hi, my name is Samuel Payano. I have been a police officer for almost 5 years. The cost of living in NYC is way too high. I got engaged the day I graduated from the police academy. We planned to get married but shortly our thoughts changed to use the saving to buy our home. We have been saving ever since and unfortunately, we have not been able to save enough because most of our income goes into payments. It's sad that no matter how much we work and sacrifice our dream of owning a small house seems unreal and far. I put my life at risk every day and I am afraid that one day I won't make it back to my fiance and she won't have anywhere to go.
