In Honor of Trooper Kyle McAcy: Support His Family
Law Enforcement
Death
Nebraska
Created February 18th, 2025
On February 17, we tragically lost Trooper Kyle McAcy #302 in a traffic accident on I-80. At just 31 years old, Kyle was a dedicated ten-year veteran of the Nebraska State Patrol, serving in various capacities including the Patrol Division, Carrier Enforcement, and as a Crisis Negotiator. He proudly wore badge #302 and was stationed in Omaha. In this difficult time, we rally together to support Kyle's family. All funds raised will be directly given to them to help with the challenges ahead. Let's honor his legacy by standing with those he loved. I did not know Kyle personally but the impact he has left on this world and the stories I've heard of him from my daughter (who worked with him) and read about him, I wish I had the chance to know him. His positive reach was far and wide. This is such a tragedy and fills my heart with such sorrow and sadness. Trooper Kyle McAcy, I thank you for your service to the people of Nebraska. To Kyle's friends and family, my deepest condolences for your loss. May you rest in eternal peace and let your legacy live on through the lives of those still on Earth.

Went to order food for the Lincoln chopsticks drive, but the wait was three hours—I’m giving directly what I’d have spent there. I’m so moved by our community and the genuine love to our law enforcement. None of this can make the loss easier, but I hope you’ll feel this for what it is: genuine love and appreciation.
