In Jeopardy of Losing Home due to COVID - Please help!

The last thing I ever want to do is ask anyone for help, but right now I am in a situation where I feel it is in the best interest of my family to ask.

This past February, my wife and our two children moved in to our first home after years of saving up for this major life event.  With all of this excitement, I too made a career change to be closer to home with my family and live in NJ.  I transferred from being a Police Officer with the NYPD to now being a Police Officer with The Port Authority Police Department.

By transferring, I had to take a minor pay cut, but my wife and I, at the time, were still able to afford our home.  Then, tragedy struck with the coronavirus and my wife was unfortunately laid off from her position at work.  I am now in a position where I am struggling for overtime, my wife cannot find a job, and watching our children grow up being home schooled is extremely difficult.

We are now facing months of missed mortgage bills and are facing losing our home due to this troubling time.  If anyone can help, in any small amount and show support, it will be more than humbling to myself, my wife, and our two children.
