Join the fight for Holly
Hi my name is Jess, I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my very good friend Holly. Holly is a mom, a daughter, a grandmother, a sister, an aunt and a friend; but most of all Holly is an amazing, loving and caring person. Holly will do anything, for anyone. She would give the shirt off of her back for someone in need. Holly is an EMT, working for 13 years now in the medical field, almost all of them on the ambulance, helping those in need. Not only does Holly “work”, she works 3 jobs, everyday of the week, everyday of the month, she works up until almost midnight, waking up at 5am, and works with little to no sleep, but she does this without a complaint and a smile on her face with love in her heart. She is a single mother doing everything and anything she can to make a life for herself, her family and just to simply make it in these horrible times of inflation and uncertainty. Holly recently lost her main job that pays the majority of her bills.
On March 22, 2023 our dear Holly was diagnosed with breast cancer. After months and months of pain, discomfort, sadness and anxiety without any medical insurance, Holly worked so hard just to be able to make the appointment for the biopsy for answers, returning results that have not only crushed her, but her children and her family as well. This cancerous lump and possible other cancerous lumps need to be removed immediately. On March 25, 2023, Holly was officially diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, requiring chemotherapy before any surgeries can occur. Holly now faces paying a very large amount per month for an insurance plan, on top of her bills and basic needs for her and her children. In these times, how does one do this along with taking care of themselves and working 3 jobs with no days for self care or rest?
The answer is simply this, you can’t. Our Holly needs to work on taking care of herself and this horrible diagnosis she was just given. Holly has many journeys she is about to embark on, all of which are leaving her with many unknowns. With prayers in our minds and nothing but hope in our hearts, I am asking if anyone is able to help Holly whether it be financially or words of hope and prayer, please know that all the proceeds will go directly to Holly for her medical expenses. Her mother Loretta, her sisters Jennifer and Sherrie, her children Joshua, Rodney, Connor and Sarah, her grandson Bodie, her pets Shaggy wags, Sadie, Oliver and Cooper, her angels in heaven Shannon, Dennis and Yogi bear, and all of her friends as well as all of her other family need her, this world needs her Thank you for your time, we appreciate you all.
