Scott Prater was diagnosed with stage 4 gastric, liver, and bone cancer in 2023. He is a lieutenant with the local sheriff office and loves his career. He spend 25+ years in law enforcement and he also loved coaching for the schools sport teams. As dedicated as Scott was to his career, he is even more devoted to his family. He has been married to his wife Angie (23 years) with two daughters Madison (20) and Jordan (25) along with a grandson on the way.

Scott was in Chemotherapy all of 2023, and suddenly developed an allergic reaction which caused him to stop taking the treatment. With the events that have took place in the recent 3 months the cancer has spread to his brain and bones, which has caused matters to become worse. He is currently being treated at home with hospice care and the family has been put in a position to make a hard decision for what’s next for him. The fight he has been battling is shortly coming to a close.
