The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Memorial Foundation held it's second annual Miss Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant on June 18, 2022 at the Ritz Theater in downtown Jacksonville. Micah Webster-Bass was crowned Miss Juneteenth Jacksonville 2022. By winning her crown, she became eligible to compete in the National Miss Juneteenth Pageant being held in Galveston, Texas in October 14-16, 2022. Our Foundation is soliciting donations to defray the cost of travel, food and lodging for our Queen, parents, pageant director, and a small contingent of supporters. Please help us send Micah to Galveston, where I am sure she will make the city of Jacksonville, Florida as proud as the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is of her.
