I amJoAnne Dowd a Retired NYC Police Officer from the 19th Precinct in Manhattan who spent 30 years volunteering for organizations such as Ronald McDonald House of New York as well as The Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation and I am now asking for help for my little cousin who is the only child in his family at a young 20 Years old has been diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of pediatric cancer that affects the soft muscle tissue. Chris is currently a University of Buffalo student studying civil engineering. As well as a taekwondo, instructor in his local Buffalo community, we are seeking donations to get a second opinion to get him to Boston the money raised will help with accommodations and travel expenses not to mention any additional medical expenses the trip would incur. Please help us help him find the best possible treatment and care. Any Conribution no matter how small will make a signifigcant differance in his journey towards recovery. We are only at the begininging of this journey as his cousin I'm trying to help during this challenging time.
