Last night we tragically lost one of our own in the NYPD - Police Officer Jason Rivera. As we mourn his death, we want to come together to show his family all the support they deserve during this trying time.
I personally worked with Jason in the 32 Precinct and all I can say is that he was an absolutely wonderful person and as a new officer on the job, he was always smiling and excited to go out no matter what his call of duty was. His cheer will be missed and will forever be in my prayers.

My heart is breaking for the families and all who love and mourn Officer Rivera, and I am hoping beyond hope that Officer Mora walks out of NYU to live a peaceful and joyful life. God bless our LEOs.
My heart is broken and hurt to the core of my soul. He was just a kid, an Officer, I did not know. His life cut short. The more I hear about his ways it's like an Angel was sent from above for a temporary assignment in which he touched many lives. condolences and prayers to his family. Prayers to Officer Mora hold on Officer Mora hold on your work is not done here God has you.
