Last night we tragically lost one of our own in the NYPD - Police Officer Jason Rivera. As we mourn his death, we want to come together to show his family all the support they deserve during this trying time.
I personally worked with Jason in the 32 Precinct and all I can say is that he was an absolutely wonderful person and as a new officer on the job, he was always smiling and excited to go out no matter what his call of duty was. His cheer will be missed and will forever be in my prayers.

As a LEO, I can not thank these families enough for their sacrifices. The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. These men exemplify that principle day in and day out and I am honored to call them brothers in blue. My families prayers are with both families.
This is just so sad. I have siblings in law enforcement and I can’t ever imagine having to feel this pain. Keep celebrating the life they lived so they can be forever be remembered. They were amazing men. They came from amazing families. They will live through all of you. Wish you all the best.
