Our Brother in Blue, a fellow Law Enforcement Officer with the Town of Long View Police Department has had a tragedy take place in his life...
On October of 2021, Dylan Smith and his wife Chelsea Smith's life changed forever. Chelsea was diagnosed with stage 4 Breast Cancer at only 23-years old. Chelsea and Dylan would now go on to attempt to battle a long and devastating battle with the Breast Cancer. Dylan who worked full time as a LEO and supports his family of 2 kids a 3-year old boy (Silas), 2-year old girl (Abigail) and his wife would now be challenged financially, emotionally and faithfully. Dylan has missed so much time from work through this battle and has spent every free minute still working to provide for his family and protecting the community.
Ultimately, on 9/2/2023, Chelsea's cancer took a turn for the worse, and she passed away at her home in Mountain View, NC. God now has healed her, and she is in no more pain. Dylan is an amazing, happy, joyful soul and would do anything for anyone! Dylan now needs our help more than ever! He has 2 children who no longer have a mother. He has a lifelong partner who no longer will be here on earth to help guide him as he too is only 26- years old. Dylan has funeral expenses, daycare expenses, medical bills, and so many other things piling up in his life.
Let's help Dylan and step up for our brother in blue! Anything you donate will help!
