Please join us as the Autauga County Firefighters' Association works to provide critical Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to students enrolled in the Fire/EMS program at the Autauga County Technology Center. This program provides area high school students with entry level state recognized training for firefighter and EMS courses. Students receive FF1, HazMat A&O and EMR courses that they can then use to support local volunteer emergency response organizations. These courses include live fire training evolutions and require appropriate PPE to participate.

Autauga County departments and other support foundations have supplied the program with bunker gear, SCBA's and breathing air cylinders. Funds sought out in this request will allow us to equip each student in the program with fire boots, helmets and gloves as well as sourcing HazMat training suits, and recertification of the SCBA units.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated as these students are the future for emergency response in our county & state.
