Join us in supporting Relay for RiRi!
Our dearest friend, Marie, loved by all, was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2009. A few years later, in June of 2021 the cancer came back with a vengeance in her spine and metastasized as Stage IV Spinal Cancer.
Marie, a retired Suffolk County Police Officer, has always had a love for life; adventures, meeting new people and going where the wind blew. She would do anything for anyone - no matter what the situation was, especially for her brothers and sisters in blue. Marie spent her time volunteering for law enforcement organizations to ensure her brothers and sisters were taken care of.
The Spinal Cancer has left Marie immobile and can no longer walk. She is in need of round the clock care and we are working on building her a floor level ramp that is handicap accessible. In doing so, we are looking for assistance to cover the cost of funding for the ramp and round the clock home health care.
Now is the time we gather together to help, Marie - join us as we give her the support she needs and deserves.
