Richie's Restoration

On Sunday, August 18th the north shore of Suffolk County, NY was pounded with torrential rain and flash flooding. The basement of Rich and Teresa's home was entirely flooded, up to the ceiling! 

In addition to their basement they also lost two cars due to water damage, their garage also flooded, and their backyard was partially submerged causing further property damage. 

Rich had been working tirelessly to complete the construction of finishing his basement. It was rehearsal space for his band, as well as a beautiful bar he built himself and a family room. Rich and Teresa's home owners insurance will not cover any of the loss. They have already spent thousands on hiring a restoration company. The basement flood permanently damaged and rendered useless several musical instruments including the band's PA system, hand tools, power tools, household electronics and sentimental items. 

Rich served with the NYPD for 20 years. He and Teresa are wonderful people. They are always willing to help anyone in need. Now they need our help.
