On October 12, 2022 Officer Alex Hamzy, Officer Alec Iurato and Sergeant Dustin DeMonte responded to a domestic disturbance call. As the three officers arrived on scene, a suspect ambushed all three officers. Officer Hamzy and Sergeant DeMonte were killed by the suspect. Officer Iurato was struck by gunfire, returned fire and killed the suspect.
This fundraiser will directly benefit Officer Hamzy and Sergeant DeMonte’s families. Thank you so much for your support.

Thoughts and prayers to the families. So sorry for the loss of these brave men. Police officers risk their lives everyday and these men deserved better.

I'm sorry this had to of happen to both heroes,I'm sure they were solid men performing one of the hardest jobs within the country.May they rest in peace and always be remembered for the sacrifices they made to help keep they're values safe.God bless.
