On October 12, 2022 Officer Alex Hamzy, Officer Alec Iurato and Sergeant Dustin DeMonte responded to a domestic disturbance call. As the three officers arrived on scene, a suspect ambushed all three officers. Officer Hamzy and Sergeant DeMonte were killed by the suspect. Officer Iurato was struck by gunfire, returned fire and killed the suspect.
This fundraiser will directly benefit Officer Hamzy and Sergeant DeMonte’s families. Thank you so much for your support.

Our hearts and deepest condolences go out to all the families, friends, and fellow officers of our fallen heroes, Officers DeMonte and Hamzy. They lost their lives doing what they felt was their calling. I hope the fact they are being honored by so many brings some level of love and comfort to all who loved them.
