Our hearts are breaking for Officer DeMonte and Officer Hamzy, their families and The Hero's of the Bristol Police Department's Brother and Sisterhood. This is not suppose to happen in a decent world! The fabric of the Bristol community is made up of good and hardworking people. The honorable officers that serve and protect this community should not be the victims of such a hateful crime. I am hopeful that some how this tragedy will bring awareness and healing. With sincere condolences Jean Walston, -Essex, CT
