On October 12, 2022 Officer Alex Hamzy, Officer Alec Iurato and Sergeant Dustin DeMonte responded to a domestic disturbance call. As the three officers arrived on scene, a suspect ambushed all three officers. Officer Hamzy and Sergeant DeMonte were killed by the suspect. Officer Iurato was struck by gunfire, returned fire and killed the suspect.
This fundraiser will directly benefit Officer Hamzy and Sergeant DeMonte’s families. Thank you so much for your support.

GOD bless you all. My son is a MP and daughter is a Chattanooga police officer. We are a service family and strongly support our officers nationwide. We have been praying for these two families of the officers that we taken from us. We pray that this donation will help the families of the two officers.
