On October 12, 2022 Officer Alex Hamzy, Officer Alec Iurato and Sergeant Dustin DeMonte responded to a domestic disturbance call. As the three officers arrived on scene, a suspect ambushed all three officers. Officer Hamzy and Sergeant DeMonte were killed by the suspect. Officer Iurato was struck by gunfire, returned fire and killed the suspect.
This fundraiser will directly benefit Officer Hamzy and Sergeant DeMonte’s families. Thank you so much for your support.

My hearts go out to the families and friends of these two heroes who senselessly lost their lives for no reason. Sergeant demonte 's wife and children my heart breaks for you and i hope this small donation helps. For officer alex hamzy's family please know my prayers are with you as you deal with this difficult process of grief and sadness. You both died doing what you love but tragically as well. R.I.P. to two heroes!
