“C” is the only child of a 37 year old mom that is in the final stages of her fight against brain cancer, a battle she has fought hard for over 5 years. She is also the survivor of domestic violence and that is why names have not been used here. She comes from a law enforcement family that started service in NY around 1918, and continues to this day with service at every level of government since.  C is just 5 years old, too young to experience the coming loss of the only parent he knows and a long road of grief ahead. He’s got loving uncles that will be raising him with his grandmother but help is needed. Being so young when diagnosed, life insurance was no longer obtainable. Your contributions will go directly towards renovating a home for C to live with family, supporting his ongoing needs, and ensuring he has a bright future filled with educational opportunities.
