Eric Tomko, a Police Officer and Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom was tragically killed Saturday, September 16th in an off-duty motorcycle accident. While traveling down a local highway, on his way to see his wife and young children at Jersey shore, a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction turned in front of Eric. The vehicles collided and Eric received fatal injuries from the accident.
Officer Eric Tomko served the citizens of Philadelphia since 2008 and was assigned to the 6th district's 5 Squad. Eric also served in the US Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He leaves behind a loving wife and two young children. Services will be held Monday, October 2nd, 2023, and will be laid to rest with Military Honors at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
