One of our own, Deputy Melissa Edwards a dedicated, 17-year veteran with the Williamson County Sheriff's Office needs our help. She was recently diagnosed with Stage-3, Triple Negative Breast Cancer, an aggressive type of breast cancer requiring aggressive treatment. Melissa’s treatment plan includes six months of chemotherapy followed by surgery and radiation. She has a difficult journey ahead, let's do all we can to support her!
Any money raised will go directly to Melissa to assist with increasing medical bills and living expenses so that Melissa and her family can focus on what is most important, getting well.

First of all, thank you so much for everything you’ve done in support of our sister, Melisa—especially Captain Moore, Sergeant Cleve Johnson, Ashley Irwin, and the entire courthouse crew! In addition to the donation on her Fund The First Page, they gathered donations to help with emergency incidentals, even before her first treatment. It’s such a blessing to know backup is there when we need it both on and off the job! There is NOTHING in the world like our LEO family, my heart overflows.
I briefly spoke with Melissa yesterday; she asked me to convey to you all how grateful she is for each of you. Please continue to remember her in your thoughts and prayers, as the chemo treatments are super tough on her right now.
