Deputy Melissa Edwards Update: Triple Negative Breast Cancer

First of all, thank you so much for everything you’ve done in support of our sister, Melisa—especially Captain Moore, Sergeant Cleve Johnson, Ashley Irwin, and the entire courthouse crew! In addition to the donation on her Fund The First Page, they gathered donations to help with emergency incidentals, even before her first treatment. It’s such a blessing to know backup is there when we need it both on and off the job! There is NOTHING in the world like our LEO family, my heart overflows.

I briefly spoke with Melissa yesterday; she asked me to convey to you all how grateful she is for each of you. Please continue to remember her in your thoughts and prayers, as the chemo treatments are super tough on her right now.
