As many of you know, Stephanie Baio's cancer has spread to her brain. She is in the early stages of working with her team of doctors on the next course of action.
As her friends and family we want to take action to do anything we can to show our support for Stephanie and her husband Lieutenant Michael Baio, as well as their daughters Josephine, Vincenza, and Giovanna. Steph shows everyone in her life how much she loves them every day and that is truly a gift to our community and all of our lives. Many of you have also asked how you can support this first responder family so we have set this up so you can donate here.
Your support will really help this family. Lieutenant Baio has taken a leave from work to be there daily to support Stephanie and the girls. The Baio’s have outstanding medical bills and Steph was denied Disability (for at least a small supplement to their income.) As anyone can imagine, any and all donations will be tremendously helpful during this struggle.
Steph doesn’t see herself as a warrior but we do. Her love and strength carries her family through the best and worst of times. If you know Stephanie at all, you know that she does not want us doing this. However, as her friends and family, we put this page together in hopes to lighten her and Michael’s load even in the slightest. We love you, Baio Family!

Ms. Baio, we have the unique privilege of being part of the same club. After my stage 3D illness that spread to my lungs and brain, which crippled the right side of my body, and after chemo, radiation and multiple surgeries, I'm fully recovered and with a greater well of strength from which to draw and a greater enjoyment of life and I'm even better looking than before (which is definitely hard to top but trust me, just ask yourn husband). Simply put, stay the course, one day at a time, but most importantly, pray the Rosary, especially with your husband. God bless.
