After a short but courageous fight with brain cancer, Officer Scott Cassidy passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. After leaving a career in finance, Scott began serving the public with Redmond Police Department. In November of 2023, after almost three years with Redmond PD, Scott joined the Port of Seattle Police Department where he demonstrated his ability and desire to help others. Scott was well-liked in the department and community, always greeting people with a smile and kindness. Scott expressed his hope to return to work after recovering from surgery, but the cancer was aggressive and he passed in his home, surrounded by his loving family.
As Scott’s wife Kari, and their two kids, Bryce (13) and Grace (15), grieve the loss of a wonderful husband and father, we ask you to help us support them with any financial hardships they may face. Your support can make a real difference, and every donation will go to helping them with essential expenses as well as securing the children’s future.
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps. If you cannot make a financial contribution, please consider sharing this campaign on your social media and with friends. Please also keep the Cassidy Family in your thoughts and prayers.
We invite you to join us in showing love and support for Kari, Bryce and Grace as they begin the painful journey of healing. Officer Scott Cassidy EOW 3/12/2025
