On June 11th we tragically lost one of our own within the Toronto Police Service - Constable Marc Pinizzotto, who was killed in the line of duty. Marc was a 18 year veteran of the Service and a valued member of the Emergency Task Force.
Marc was more than a Police Officer - he was a devoted husband, father, brother and son. He was a leader in the hockey community, volunteering his time as a coach with the Oakville Rangers.
Marc was an amazing co-worker and always had time to listen and help out a fellow officer.
Marc leaves behind his wife and two beautiful children.

Pat McInerney and kids. Marco: Greg and I decided to give you a "Conditional Pass" (no higher grade available) after your 23 Division - Rookie Officer Traffic Training. What you didn't know, we had also given your final Traffic Evaluation the privileged and very seldom used stamp (in invisible ink) that reads "This rookie will do very well".
