It is with heavy hearts we are writing this for our dear friend Eloy Solis who passed away on Wednesday April 16th.Eloy died a hero donating his organs to those in need to live their lives to the fullest.
Eloy joined the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office in January of 2001 where he worked as a Correctional Officer until his retirement in April of 2022. Here he made such an impact on those around him and took great pride in the work he did.
He was a Jail Training Officer who loved mentoring and helping those around him. Eloy was a trusted advisor to the team and whenever there was a question, he was the guy people went to. His role on Team 3 will never be forgotten, nor will the lasting friendships he made. He is a friend, mentor and brother who will be greatly missed.
His passing was sudden and unexpected, and we will all miss him dearly. Please donate what you can and share with your loved ones to help alleviate some of the costs for his services.
