Members of the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office (Team BCPO) are excited to be participating in the inaugural greater New York metropolitan area Law Enforcement United - Road to Hope. Law Enforcement United (LEU) is an organization dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifice of officers killed in the line of duty, and further supporting the families they left behind.
The Road to Hope is a charitable bicycle ride beginning on May 9 at the World Trade Center Memorial, and culminating in Washington DC on May 12. While LEU has been around since 2009, this will be the first year of it's newest charter, Honor 37 New York. This will mark the first LEU ride embarking from the hallowed grounds of the World Trade Center where the greatest single day loss of law enforcement life occurred on 9/11/2001.
LEU is a 100% volunteer driven charity consisting of active and retired law enforcement officers, surviving family members, and civilian supporters who have made it our mission to honor the fallen and remember the survivors.
Thank you for being so supportive of the members of Team BCPO, and for all of the collective efforts that Law Enforcement United stands for.
Sincerely,
Team BCPO - Bill Schweizer, Bill Diedtrich, Nelson Tejada, Dennis Conway, Keith Macellaro, Yousef Fattah, & Griffen Sheridan
