Help a Devoted Husband, Father, and Law Enforcement Officer in His Fight Against Cancer
Tommy is a man who has dedicated his life to service, family, and community. As a member of the United States Army and retired K9 officer, he spent decades keeping our neighborhoods safe. He served with honor alongside his trusted K9 partner, Ace, forming an unbreakable bond with his loyal companion while defending us all.
But today, Tommy faces an unimaginable challenge—he has been diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer. Despite his strength, this diagnosis has turned his family’s world upside down. As a loving husband to Gina and devoted father to Andrew, Kyle and 13 year old Gianna, Tommy is not just fighting for himself but for his family’s future.
The aggressive treatment needed to battle this illness is taking a financial toll. Medical bills are mounting, and the cost of everyday living has become a burden. Tommy has spent his life caring for others—now, it’s our turn to support him and the Kownacky family!
We are asking for your help. By contributing to this fundraiser, you will be giving Tommy and his family the chance to focus on what matters most: time together and his health. Every dollar will go towards medical treatments, household expenses, and ensuring his family has the support they need during this challenging time.
Your generosity and kindness will make a world of difference to this dedicated father, and husband and retired police officer and military member. No contribution is too small, and even sharing this campaign will help us reach more people willing to lend a hand.
Thank you for standing with us as we support the Kownacky family in their time of need.
Updates
Tommy and Gina reached out and asked me to post an update. They wanted to express their gratitude for all of the support both financially and in prayers. The financial support will not only help make ends meet (who knew how expensive it is to be sick) but will also allow them to pursue alternative treatments to go along with the conventional treatment. Their motto is in it to win it and they are fighting the fight. Always letting their faith be bigger than their fear.
