Shane McHugh had an infectiously big smile and the worlds biggest heart. He and his fiancée, Catina, shared a very deep bond. They were truly soul mates. They spent the first few years of their relationship long distance while Shane served our country in the United States Marine Corps. Catina would spend hours on end thoughtfully curating care packages for Shane and doing whatever she could to help bring him peace, hope and comfort while he was deployed. Catina was his rock.
Shane and Catina share a beautiful son, Theodore McHugh, who they prayed so hard for. Shane was a devoted father and he loved them both more than words could ever describe. Shane proudly served in the Philadelphia Police department of the 6th Police District. He worked incredibly hard so Catina could take on the roll of a full time mom to raise their son. Shane was her rock.
Shane tragically and unexpectedly took his life on March 15, 2023. During this devastating time, WE need to be their rock. Please consider donating to ensure Catina and Theodore can continue to grieve, without worry of future financial burden as they navigate this new life.
