The Sonny Archer Law Enforcement Foundation will be holding an Awards Dinner Dance on the 12-Year Memorial of NYPD 1st Grade Detective Fermin S. "Sonny" Archer.  This Dinner Dance will be held in Memory of how he lived (he loved dancing) and how we lost him. We are taking this opportunity to raise funds for our new added Mental Health Awareness program that will be offered both to Law Enforcement and Community Members.  The program will offer, Blood Pressure Screenings and preventive measures against its risks to include "Stress Management" which is a major contributing factor to Hypertension. Our team of Healthcare Professionals and Mental Healthcare Professionals will offer basic counseling and guidance to much needed resources.  To date we have successfully screened over 15,000 candidates for high blood pressure and 50% were New York City's Finest.  Our methods have proven effective in understanding Hypertension and in self-monitoring for prevention and care. The event will be held on Thursday 13th July, 2023 @ Giando on the Water.  The Foundation is mainly self-funded and has been in business for over 9-years.  We serve the Law Enforcement Community and collaborate often with Law Enforcement to offer our services throughout our Communities.  Building a stronger bridge between Law Enforcement and the Community through Mental and Physical Health Awareness.  Come out and dance with us while you strengthen your heart muscles and relieve some stress.
