Woods ~n~ Water (WnW) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides FREE services and activities to Veterans/active duty members of the Armed Forces, first responders and their families. 

The four board members consist of one former volunteer EMT, two Veterans and a Mission BBQ Community Ambassador, all of which through their volunteerism to organizations focused on military and first responders. One board member, a 17 1/2 year Veteran, is a licensed mental health counselor that works with Combat Veterans and their families through the VetCenter. 

WnW provides many different types of therapeutic activities that are structured to offer not only wellness, but also camaraderie and support.

In addition to the activities, WnW has recently acquired 7.3 acres of land in rural South Jersey, surrounded by farmland. Currently, there is an extensive food pantry on this location, providing a place for those in need to come select items they need and want. WnW also provides delivery to those with traveling difficulties. 

ALL proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards the many needed projects on the property, such as a 12x16 shower shed (housing a walk-in shower big enough for a wheelchair; ADA toilet; vanity; washer; dryer), a fire pit (for family gatherings, group & 1 on 1 therapy sessions with our licensed mental health counselor and family support groups); a reflection garden (for music & art therapy; meditation; yoga; a place to reflect, read, relax); pastures (for horses; chickens; goats; produce garden - offering tasks for our Nation's Heroes to complete, therapeutic animal interactions and opportunities to contribute); overseas container (to offer FREE clothing and furniture); a wrap around porch (to offer a place for our Nation's Heroes to grab a mug of coffee, play checkers/chess, read a book, chat together, or just relax)

The goal with the WnW property is to offer a location for our Nation's Heroes to call home. There are no homeless Heroes, as long as the WnW property exists. They are just residentially challenged.
