On January 19th, 2022, the West Harrison Fire Department suffered the untimely and tragic loss of Firefighter Christopher Colasacco. Chris was a member of the West Harrison Fire Department for the past 4 years where he held the rank of Lieutenant. Prior to his service at West Harrison, Chris was a Lieutenant with the Valhalla Fire Department and a Captain with the Harrison Fire Department.
The West Harrison Fire Department is setting up this fund raiser to assist the family during this difficult and tragic time. All funds will go directly to the Colasacco family.
Chris is survived by his spouse, Cynthia, and his son, Colton (aged 8). Chris is also survived by a large family of First Responders. His father, Ray Sr., is a retired Harrison, NY Firefighter and currently the Captain of the West Harrison Fire Department. His brother, Ray Jr., is an active Firefighter with the Harrison, NY Fire Department. His brother, Brian, is a Police Officer with the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department. His uncle, Rick Colasacco Sr., is a retired Police Officer with the MTA Police Department. His cousin, Ricky Jr., is a former Harrison, NY, Firefighter and currently a City of Rye Firefighter.
