The Virginia Association of Chiefs of Police highly recommends Fund the First to any law enforcement agency or law enforcement-supporting non-profit organization wanting to organize a fundraising campaign for an officer or the family an officer leaves behind. Their website says it all... they guarantee that every dollar raised (less a small, unavoidable percentage for credit card processing) goes directly to the verified beneficiary and not through some intermediary where there is potential for fraud to occur. We have emailed and texted with their team at all hours when we've experienced a line of duty death of an officer in Virginia and they have responded immediately and have walked us through everything we need to do. They are well-versed in what is needed for a successful campaign. And because they are first responders themselves, they know exactly what we are going through. Fund the First is the only platform that should be used when fundraising for first responders.

Working with this organization was an absolute pleasure. Immediately upon setting up the fund I was contacted by the CEO and offered any and all assistance needed. Pleasure to work with. He even took the time to create a flier for us and generated a QR code to assist with donations. Each time I reached out to make changes, he immediately responded and quickly made the changes requested. I will definitely use this organization again when the time comes.

Fund the first has been amazing during times of need. When tragedy happens, the last thing you need to worry about is finances. Fund the first made it extremely easy to organize a fundraiser, and Robert Garland walked me through every step of the way. It’s comforting to know that donations made are secure and you don’t have to worry about fees or a platform refusing to give the money to the family in need.

This site is the best one around for raising money. Great people who run it and the fees are the lowest around which gives more money back to the beneficiary.
